Converting halogens to xenons?

Has anyone ever converted their halogens to OEM xenons?

I know it's a major hassle and costs a lot. But I'm considering ordering a new F30 328i without a sunroof because I'M TALL and the only way to do this is to get the halogens. My head will hit the roof liner if I get the sunroof. I'm not doing it because I'm cheap.

So has anyone done this? I'd probably pay whatever it costs to convert to xenons.
