Vinyl wrap the roof?
I have a friend who works at tint shop and they do vinyl wrapping so he offered to do my roof for $180. It\'s a great deal but is it worth not being able to go to a car wash? I live in an apartment, hand washing is difficult for me with no hose. What should I do?

If it is quality vinyl and your roof has places for the vinyl to be tucked you can still go to a car wash.
Best way to keep the vinyl healthy and strong is a hand wash with a soft detailing spray and cloth then going over it with a heat gun. I highly recommend only an experienced installer put a heat gun anywhere near the vinyl. I started a company that offers partial, full wraps, and lettering/decals. As to not piss off the moderators, PM me if you want more info.

But is it worth the hassle of having TI hand wash the car versus the convenience of machine washing? Also, I have a spoiler which is applied with 3M tape, will that come off in a machine wash?
