Modified AC LIP E90 Sedan

Hi Guys,
Im thinking of buying this lip for my E90 335I, Im happy with how my car look except for the boring stock front end.

I found this lip and thought it looks a little too messy.

I just bought it on ebay for $100, im going to modify it to look like this.

What do you guys think, looks much better modified doesn't it?

Haha, a few hours ago I just PM'ed member, E90PAT how clean and slick his car is, especially with that lip, so much so I'm planning to pick one up later on! It's awesomely slick. In fact I was asking how exactly this thing installs so this is actually quite relevant and useful, so yeah please post pics and maybe a how-to if it's not too much to ask haha

Great Idea! How come you are using fiberglass? 3M plastic adhesives or Fusor products are known to work really well. Fusor is known to make a very strong bond that does not crack easily. Anyways let us know when it is done. Looks very promising.

Yes you are right, but this method will work just as-well, its all in the prepping of the surface.

still in the works, between work, my 1 & 2 year old haven't had much time to work on it. We ended up using carbon Fiber cause we were out of fiberglass. Ill post pictures of the painting and installation soon.

Definitely remove the lower left and right trim pieces.. But awesome idea, might give this a shot when I'm bored with my current lip!
