7506 = 1156 bulb?
Can someone tell me is a 1156 bulb is the same as a 7506? I am needing to buy some amber bulbs for my blackline lenses. I see Jlevi and **********s have 1156 amber bulbs, but no 7506 in the silverlights. Thanks.

Ask that question at the "automotive section" of the "candlepower forums". You will get your answer. They are specialised in auto bulbs. I would post a link here but I am not sure if it is legal.

Yup! A 7506 bulb uses a Ba15s base, while a 1156 bulb also uses a Ba15s base. If you are replacing the bulbs with LEDs, a 1156-type bulb will do the job. However, if you're replacing then with an incandescent bulb, then you do have to pay attention to the difference, because one draws 21-watts, while the other draws 28-watts (something along those lines, not sure which is which)
