Best Way to Cut?

Hey guys,

So I've been working on wrapping my car recently, and I'm getting to the part where I want to wrap my trunk. I currently have a Carbon Fiber CSL trunk on with the CF exposed at the tip of the trunk. Obviously, when I wrap it, I want to leave the CF exposed. My question is, how do people cut the vinyl out perfectly without scratching the paint? The logical conclusion is that they cut out the vinyl before installing it, but I can't think of any good ways to do this, and I'm also afraid it would be perfect.

Does anyone have some genius ideas for me?
