Hi was curious to see if anyone had any feedback on certain brands of spacers. Many people are saying "spacers are spacers" but I am pretty sure there are big differences on why some buy more expensive ones.. just wanted to know which spacers do you run? how do you like them? Also what are the bolts for? I may need a pair of 10mm spacers for the rear and want to hear out suggestions thank you!

RS Techniks ftw! I'm very impressed with these spacers. Hit up Sean@pyspeed (vendor) he hooked it up with a good deal.

Also just a tip from my research but because of the length of the length of the hub lip, 10mm spacers don't sit properly w/o an adapter such as the one from turner Motorsport. If I were you I'd go 12mm and call it a day.

Oh and the Techniks come with black extended bolts.

I have H&R spacers and the fitment is flawless they clip snug over the hub centre and spacer machining & thickness is consistent.

you may pay dearly in the long run buying cheap spacers! also I would suggest a stud conversion as apposed to the stock lug nuts as this will make changing up wheels easier and some 75mm studs will let you play around with up to 10mm spacers.

if you want to go bigger than 10mm spacers you will need 95mm studs!

cheap spacers = poor machining & cheap aluminum which results in vibration through the wheel

spacers are not just spacers because your mounting surface is not flat its has a slight radius to it so i wouldnt just buy any kinda of spacer! you could break your lug bolts this way!

No drama's post up some pics when installed! 12mm should give your car a better stance and a wider wheel track too! overall appearance will be more aggressive.

I think 12mm is a good size for any car. I just threw a pair of 12mm's on my car.

I run 12mm H&R spacers on the front to maintain the proper offset with my E46 ZCP wheels, and I speak highly of their quality. I also used 15mm Rogue spacers on my E36 track rat and they worked fine. Not as high quality as the H&R IMHO, but they did the job and in the end that's what matters.

Make sure you buy proper length lug bolts to match.

Also, never, ever use 'two-piece' wheel spacers or wheel adapters. They are a terrible concept and failure-prone.

no alignment needed (unless you remove way more suspension)

What size spacers would make my stock 17" wheels sit flush with H&R sport springs on my e92 335xi?

10-12mm rear? Extended lugs needed?
How about the front? Same question about lugs?
