Cobb Accessport Stage 2+fmic Virtual Dyno, Datalog

Had some free time this morning so I decided to do some datalogs with the accessport. Had some slight hesitation through the pull, looking at the datalog it looks like timing pulls. this is stage 2+fmic aggressive, linear map, on shell 93 octane. looks like i may need to drop down to the sport map.

thanks. lol i don't really care as much about VD, was mainly using it for graphing the datalogs

VD uses RPM in the hp calculation so if you had traction control engaging or dips or bumps in the road you'll get those...i've done plenty of VD and whener I do a 4th gear pull on a nice flat level surface and make sure to enter the weather conditions, weight and tire diameter properly it actually is amazingly accurate...without all that dont expect clean consistent true numbers
..its a great tool but needs to be used properly

you should log ignition advance cyl 2 and 5 instead of 1. those 2 cyl are the noisiest of them all.

..its a great tool but needs to be used properly
thanks for the tips. i had traction control fully off, but i did hit a few bumps on the second datalog. i also just realized i forgot to enter my weight. as far as wheel/tire sizes, do you use the rear size or the front size? i have a staggered 19" setup with 235's in front, 275's in rear.

You should enter the rear tyres size. At least thats what i do. Use smoothing 3-4 as well.

Correct. In terms of tire size you really should run the same overall diameter in the front/rear on the car. Some cars will actually give you ABS issues if they're mismatched (x-drive cars for example). If your rear tire diameter is larger than the front I'd use that..

frontal drag coefficient is part of the hp formula but luckly Brad Barnhill has taken care of those as people provided them to him and they're part of his car database...make sure you also select the right gear as you'll get 1000hp instead of what you really are putting down...

too often people blame the tool when in fact they're the ones not using it properly...you'll really enjoy the too as it truly is really really great IF you can follow the above directions

I think you should always use the rear tire diameter for RWD cars because that is the one driven by the engine.
