Vessel: Madame Butterfly (06/08/07)
Who's on board?!
I just found out I'm booked on this ship headed to Port Hueneme, CA. I don't get picked up until 06/10 at Zeebrugge, but was just wondering who else was joining me for the long journey. Looks like it's already left Bremerhaven. a quick update: |

I am pretty sure I am on this boat based on dates alone. Is there any other way for me to check and be certain?

Yeah, go to http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTrac...trackType=Auto and punch in your VIN. it should tell you if you're on any of WWL's ships. |

I'm on board (335xi). My CA sent me e-mail today with the info. Strange thing is that the tracking doesn't work for me. I've tried VIN, BoL#, and voyage#. None of them turn up, but the ship name and departure date in the BMW systems are correct. Anyone know how to get that map without VIN working?
Thanks, BoB |

Oh well...if you're on the Asian Hoegh, that's probably better news for you, as I think it gets in a few days earlier than the Madame Butterfly.

the map actually has nothing to do with the VIN. It's a vessel tracking site that I use here http://aisfree.aislive.com/Influx.aspx . You'll need to sign up for a free account. They also have a pay service that you can get a free 2-week trial to, but I'm reserving that for when the ship gets closer to us over here. i think the main difference is the pay one gives you "real-time" status, where as the free site that I"m pulling the maps from gives you time-delayed status. i think delayed by an hour or two. hope this helps!! |

Woo Hoo! My tracking info shows up today, but the boat has gone off the end of the world. OK, it just went off the ais map. Anybody know of a way to figure out where it's at?

What's funny is I did try looking for the Hoegh Asia at the same time, but couldn't find her I'll keep trying, since according to the Port Hueneme schedule, we're scheduled to come into port the same day! |

Did you click "register" at http://aisfree.aislive.com/ for the free account? That'll allow you to see time-delayed AIS in regions outside of Europe also? |

Another e90post member 'spn' had these links showing up for tracking the Grand Duke, and they work great!! give it a shot! if you haven't signed up for the free time-delayed account I think this link should do it: http://aisfree.aislive.com/Register/Register.aspx |
