What is a good pre lci angel eye bulb?
I recently did a halogen to xenon conversion, and now the next step is to upgrade the angel eyes. Now before all you start telling me to get LUX or MTEC, is there a good quality angel eye upgrade that is a bit less expensive? I have seen LUX bulb go for over $200 and for me that is a lot money just for some bulbs. So any suggestions? Originally I was going to do the H8 gp thunder 7500k upgrade, but I found out that it would only work on LCI e90's. Any help at all is appreciated!

DDM Tuning for the MyCarr upgrade.
I bought one. Haven't installed yet. http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/BM...rade-by-Mycarr On sale for $55. DDM Tuning used to be ApexCone and was founded by a BMW enthusiast. They also have ACS replica rear spoilers for $60 on clearance. |

I bought the LED Angel Eyes from highperformancebulbs. I got the interior setup from them and they are SUPER bright. Didn't throw any codes and I believe it was $50. They recently made a kit with CREE LEDs as well for a bit more but I love mine.

Yeah, I know LUX is the best angel eye bulb out there. It is just that they seem to expensive just for I bulb. I know they look amazing at night, but to be honest with you the amount of money I would pay for LUX is close to how much I got my xenon housings for.

I recommend the MTEC V.3 for your Pre-LCI. If you dont want to pay the price of LUX and want to be brighter than RDash and GP thunder. In my opinion MTECs are as bright as LUX.

Is DDM Tuning Legit?
Quote:
Sometimes stuff is a little slow because some things are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. I've bought lighting, parts, etc. Never an issue. They stand behind the lifetime HID and I had a bulb blow and they sent two to make sure color matched. YMMV, but no complaints from me. |

Here is a pic I have, but it was during the day, towards sunset. Left is OEM, right is the angel eye.
HPB's interior set it known for being so bright. As for DDM tuning, I just ordered some new D1S's and fog light bulbs from them. My friend has used them before. If you look at the site they say everything is made to order, so sometimes it takes up to a few weeks to receive. They are a good price on all their bulbs (BMW Xenons dropped) and my friend swears by them.

Exactly those. They aren't the CREE LEDs but they're plenty enough for me. Direct plug and play. The only reason my hood is open is because I thought I could do it without going through my wheel well.
Just make sure it fits your car Good luck!
