Poll: Automatics with M3 subframe bushings
I'm trying to collect information that may help solve noise issues a few of us are having after a LSD installed along with the M3 subframe bushings.
See Here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=532595 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=659338 Thanks in advance. UPDATE: If you do have a similar noise issue please post in the thread. I doubt any but the 4 of us do so... Thanks Last edited by 335iSSA; 03-17-2012 at 04:11 PM.. |

I had a faint 'whine' sound from my Quaife LSD the first 500 mi. Came to find out the install shop put in Redline 75/90. Changed it out to RL 75/90NS after 1200 mi and no noise since 2008. Don't know what fliud you're using but that could be it.

This noise is not a whine and unfortunately changing fluid had no affect.
