BMW takes 2nd at Canadian F1 Grand Prix......
It was a terrific drive from Nick Heidfeld who started from the second row. The other BMW driven by Robert Kubica was eliminated in an absolutely horrifying crash. Kubica was coptered into Montreal to a hospital and miraculously did not suffer any major injuries at last report.
The winner was 22 year old Louis Hamilton in the McLaren Mercedes. It was his first GP win....pretty cool. |

I saw the race on TV - wish I had gone in person. It was awesome and Hamilton was a cool customer. He kept driving with composure while all heck was breaking loose!!

The Canadian GP circuit looks like a great place to see an F1 race. My sweetie and I are planning on going next year. I've never been to Montreal so it could make a cool vacation.

Sounds like a great plan. Montreal is beautiful and probably the classiest city we have.
