My Camaross Angel Eyes Kit...

Awhile back I purchased a Camaross kit when they had the group buy. After about 2 months of it being installed the drivers side went out. I contacted him about it since they were supposed to have a warranty, but never got anything back. Have tried many times.. PM, paypal email, etc.

Anyway, today I decided to play around with the kit for awhile to identify exactly what was wrong. Ends up the part that needs to be replaced the piece shown below...

Since Camaross is unreachable, does anyone know where I can get a new one of these boxes? Thanks in advance!

I also have Camaross kit ended up from replacing harness, bulb to ballast, only thing that is from Camaross kit left is the module that cancel out the error. You should be able to swap out the ballast from ddm tuning. I have found all my part from ddm tuning.

Yea, I played around with it, wiring different combinations between switching the bulbs, harnesses, etc and the ballast was the cause.

Does anyone happen to know what wattage the ballast is for the Camaross kit?

http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/Re...nt-HID-Ballast

Nevermind... 35w

You'll want to do 1 of either of the following to keep your ballast from prematurely failing:

1) Code your nettodat file from the N/FRM module and raise the PWM duty cycle to 100%. This will turn off the PWM signal that kills the HID ballast. You can keep your existing wiring.

2) Wire a bosch relay directly to the battery, triggered by the existing OEM wiring. Wire a load resistor across the positive and negative terminals of the angel eye wiring to eliminate the error. Keep the resistor out side of the housing and mount it to a peice of metal with screws or a metal clamp or something that won't melt. The load resistor will dissipate power as heat and will get extremely hot!

3) Buy a PWM filter, not an error canceler.

If you don't do 1 of the options above, you ballast will fail again.

Cool info -thanks

For #1, I assume if Indy shop has a "Autologic" program can enter content and alter this parameter. Is this correct? If not, how does one this alteration?

You need NCSExpert. Check out the coding section. You can download the necessary programs/files in sticky "coding success" or something like that.

Also look in the lighting/cosmetic section for a thread called "$40 HID angel eyes"....something along those lines. It goes over coding the nettodat file.
