Need Advice! Dropping an e90 on 19" VMR 710s!

Hey guys, I need some advice on dropping my e90. I recently put a set of 19" VMR 710s staggered 8.5" front 9.5" back and she definitely riding higher than my stock 16s. The suspension is the standard suspension. I don't want to slam it to the ground (sorry cali guys) and i also live on a pretty decent hill (last pic) and prefer not to scrape.

I'm looking at:

Eibach Pro Lowering Springs - Mod Bargains says it should drop the front 1.2" and the back 1.0"

or

H&R Sport Springs - MB says it will drop front 1.3" and back 1.2".

I'd prefer not to have to roll the rear fenders but if I have to its not the end of the world and I'm not ballin enough for coilovers. I plan on doing the install myself.

Just looking for advice or different alternative from someone who has a similar setup, I know alot of you are rocking 19" VMR 710s

I know shes dirty, its pollen season, just waiting it out.

8.5" infront and 9.5" in back, no spacers.

Thanks man, I would prefer not to spend the money. Maybe swapping out directly from the 16s made it look high.

ouch that looks like a rough driveway. these cars aren't terrible when low tho. I would probably just go with the eibachs because it looks like the front is higher than the rear, so I'd get something with a smaller rear drop to avoid reverse rake

Newman I just swapped my 16" stock wheels with 19" VMR's as well on stock non-sport suspension like yours.

Do you experience the suspension to be a lot floatier now then before, or is it just me?

I'm thinkning of changing the stock suspension to Bilstein B12 (Bilstein B8 dampers + Eibach Pro Kit) because of this - of course the drop would be a welcomed side effect, but the driving/handling is the main reason I am considering this.

Don't want the car to be uncomftable though, as I drive around 20.000 miles a year.

I'm definitely going to have look at the clearances more closely before I do anything but I may not be at this location for much longer.

The car definitely rode a little different but I think some of that may have been the change to a much wider wheels. I owned an E46 before my E90 and that had a much sportier and precise ride, that's what I would to like to get back to. You will feel bumps and cracks in the road more but nothing BMW driver should consider uncomfortable and when you get into the curves you will forget all about it. That is the other main reason I'm looking into a new suspension setup.

Vmrs are nice. I got your set up. Go for H&R, consider also selling your oem shocks and going for an another one. And mine is on coils, springs give decent drop but they destroyed my shocks.

I'd go with coilovers since our cars have gone through so many miles. I know the car would like to feel much better again. And the advantage of always changing your height.

Save up and get it done right one time.
