E46 M3 BBK on a 1M???

Have located a nearly new set of Front & Rear AP brakes but the kit is for an E46 M3, I was wondering if these would fit my 1M???

If not what would need changing, maybe the caliper carriers/mounts or the bells???

Apologies if this seems a silly question but been offer the kit at a very good price & was wondering how much work would be needed to fit these to my 1M.

I can't answer your question directly, but I am pretty sure your car has most of the suspension from the E92 M3, therefore I would think you would need a E92 BBK instead of a E46 BBK to fit. And again, I could be completely wrong. LOL

You are correct that I would need the E92 BBK but I was wondering what would need changing to fit an E46 BBK to my car, as most AP Racing kits use the same calipers & discs so would it be just a case of changing the bells & caliper mounts?

I have never been through AP stuff before but I have a set of brembo F50 on my E46 M3 also thinking to swap into 1M. But the disc on 1M is apparently bigger so don't think the caliper could fit. so, may be just go for brembo GT in my case.

Am I reading this correctly a BBK for an E92 should fit the 1M no worries... i.e. Brembo, AP's etc.... Am keen to know more... Anyone please?

1M and E9x M3 share same front suspension. So, yes -- any BBK for an E9x M3 will fit on a 1M.
