New Rims, Sizing Help Needed
Hoping someone could chime in with some experience.
I'm looking to change things up. Was thinking of going with some Volk TE37's The sizing as a result will have to be 19x9.5 et22 and 19x10.5 et 22 How badly will this rub? (Mainly in the front, since for some reason BMW leaves almost no clearance at full lock as is) I'm also assuming I'll have to step up from our current 245/265 tire set-up to a 255/275 set-up? How additionally bad will this make me rub? (I'll be on KW V3) According to a online calculator, for the front, distances from: -Suspension= 100% clear (leaves even more room than OEM) -Fenders= Package will stick out 14 mm (0.6'') farther. Acceptable for most cars. -Wheelwells= Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 3 mm. Almost no difference for the rear, distances from: -Suspension= Package is 2 mm (0.1'') closer to suspension/brakes components. Acceptable for most cars. -Fenders= Package will stick out 8 mm (0.3'') farther. Acceptable for most cars. -Wheelwells = Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 3 mm. Almost no difference But was hoping someone here has experience! |

FWIW - I have a track setup with 18x9.5 et22 with 275/35/18 and the inner part of the front tires just barely rub the front fender lining. Hopefully, you can use this information on the wheel calculator to compare to.
