Jetta Got New Shoes
I know this isnt my Z, however I just put some 18 x 8 ASA AR2's on my MkIV Jetta and I am now thinking I may like to get some for the Z.... What do you think?
Just out of the box: The old BBS RXII's (16"): With new shoes! A new suspension kit is on order, which should lower it by about 1.5"...

The sad thing about those OEM wheels is that the "corrosion" you see just started happening, those rims were always clean and shiney. But all four wheels were starting to discolour and what not...hence the decision to update to new wheels. (BBS wouldnt fix the wheels for me...nor would VW even though just about every MkIV Wolfsburg Ed. Jetta has the same problem with the BBS wheels!)

Based on your Z, I should have known that those wheels were not your fault. Apology tendered!
