Carbon 8 products, anyone?
Hi. Guys.
I was thinking to get a M3 style hood, but my friend has a M3 and has to park next to me almost every day, so.... I'm considering to get a VR style carbon fiber hood that made by carbon 8 now. Does anyone has or know their product? How is the fitment and quality? Its cheaper than the vendors here that sells vented hood... Thnaks |

Well, I can attest to the high quality of their underhood CF parts, Upper/Lower snorkel, Euro Airbox Cover, Cowl Covers, Air Filter Cover, Engine Cover. These parts are apparently factory pieces that have been overlaid with CF and cleared. Weave is nice thru out regardless of complex bends.
Obviously fitment in this case is dead on as they start out as the factory parts... If these are any indication of their quality of other parts - I would say you should be good

I know this is outside your question, but if you are spending this type of money and you have an e90 I would recommend an lci update with the hood. More stylish and 100% fitment. |
