Best Tire Pressure for Ride Quality?

I'm used to keeping tire pressures about 1 - 3 psi above the recommended tire pressure on my previous cars.

Being new to BMW and run-flat tires, I'm curious to know if doing this is a bad idea.

Would it alter the handling characteristics drastically or be unsafe?

What do you keep your RFT pressures at? How often do you check?

Thanks. Love this forum!

I keep mine at 3 psi above the recommended pressure - for slightly better handling
