Mtech Pre LCI Front Bumper Install
Hey guys - I am trying to figure out what to do here. I ordered the JG Mods Mtech pre lci front bumper and the shop is running into issues w/ the install.
I was told to also order adapter 51758040109, and fender liner ext.'s 51718040099 and 51718040100. Those parts fit onto the bumper w/o issue, but they cannot figure out how to attach those parts to the existing under-engine cover. Has anyone done the pre-lci front mtech bumper install? Can I re-use the existing under-engine cover, if so how does that attach to the adapter and fender liner extensions? Thanks. |

Ok. So I think they have figured out what to do w/ the center adapter. But they are unsure of the fenderliners. Could that be because of my stock oil cooler?

i did the same thing and got pre-lci rep bumper. shame issue of plastic liner being a bit too short to cover completely. they were able to screw 2 corners each side new bumper to original plastic undercover but screwing the middle are is difficult cause org plastic is just not long enough but still possible with a little force and extra 5 mins of work. |

Yeah I don't get why a damn body shop can't just figure the shit out. The body shop that did mine had to cut some stuff around the IC. I just told them to do whatever...you can't see in there anyway...and they did it..

yes, it can work. you gonna need a bit longer screws maybe... i did, just to make it a bit easier due to unconventional linement being a bit off target.

bad news man, Im not talking about Mtech but pre-lci M3 Rep with brake ducts. more aggressive look, Mtech is good too but front lines looks as if the bumper is making a happy face.
