LCI tail light wrap?

I ebayed E92 LCI tail lights and found out the prices are ridiculous...

What if I wrap my tail lights red?
Plastidip?
Anyone ever did this or has any suggestions?

What are you trying to accomplish? The tails are already red pretty much?

The reverse white strip is white.
