Advice installing Depo LED tails

I have a set of smoked Depo LED tail lights and an anti flicker kit for my 330i. I'm looking for some advice as to anything I should know before install. Do I have to disconnect battery? I bought them new but don't come with install instructions. Also I couldn't find a DIY. Any help would be appreciated.
