Pre-Lci Xenon headlights, need help before I fit them...

I have just bought a set of pre-lci xenon headlights without ballasts etc. I want to fit them to my 2006 e90, does anyone know if they will fit without coding etc. Also is it possible to use a normal Hid kit with aftermarket ballast or do I have to buy another set of original Bmw ballasts? Please help, I have everything to fit, just need help whether these will work.I cant see why not but wanted to be sure before I remove everything.
