Help!! e90 335i trippin out

hey guys i reset air control, throttle valve adapt,fuel/ air adapt/ secondary air injection with the bt tool and when i started my car it kept revving and i turned it off immediatly gave my a dtc malfunction... i set map 0 on jb4 before doing this... PLEASE HELP dont know what to do next...

lol the e90 has one sketchy computer after 2 restarts with the car erractically revving and giving me every error code thinkable i start it up the third time and it starts perfectly. drove it feels fine..????? no fault codes either wtf

I had something similar, but the car never ran quite right. I pulled out the JB4 and then reinstalled it and never had the problem again.

Maybe I had a loose wire or bad connection somewhere.

it happened sometimes when you do throttle adaptation reset its common at least for me whenever i upload new maps and firmware it's go apeshit on restart power off reset adaptation agains and comes back on fine no issues.

Yah thats what seemed to have happened.. Car feels much better after resetting these adaptions..

I have had this problem when I reset my adaptions and did not reset the ECU last. It can be fixed by resetting the ECU, not just turning the ignition off.

Smile I may be a fool...

The same thing has just happened to my car after adaptation reset...

Not sure how to reset ECU so I had to pull the battery cable for 5 minutes, then performed a throttle switch reset.

This seems to work for me to restore normalcy. Hopefully this information is helpful for somebody who panicking as much as I was.

This happens often during resets. You will thorugh Trans codes, use BT to clear. If you do throttle valve adaptions, the car will hicc-up with throttle angles unless its done correctly. There is a thread on how to do it properly in this fourm.
