BlackLine Taillights on "National Hold"

Went to my dealer today to order the blackline taillights. Gave the guy at the counter the part number and he punched it into the computer. It came up as being on "National Hold". Skepitcal I asked to see the screen. He showed me and sure enough, that is what it said. The only explanation he could give was this. He has seen this in the past and it is usually due to a recall of the item or defect in the product, so BMW won't ship until the product is fixed. He said a national hold means no US dealers can place the order.

Found an ebay dealer in Germany that sells them for $145 Euro. Shipping is $47 Euro. Total US dollars was about $237. I'll update if I run into any problems.

Received my order today. Brand new in box, exactly as promised. Took two weeks for delivery. Here is the link to their ebay store.

Funny...i called to order some with my bike rack yesterday and heard the same thing.

Oh well, thats what i get for waiting.

Does anyone know if the turn signals are yellow on these?

I ordered some from Pacific last week and the guy told me they were in stock at his regional warehouse, and that it would take him a couple of bus. days to get them and then he would ship them out to me, and I would see them 5-7 bus. days after they ship. I hope what he told me was accurate. This was probably Wednesday of last week.

cant be, for i just spoke to pacific today, and they said BMW has a hold on them, cant say when its going to be available, that just 30mins ago.

And Im trying to get longtran to sell me his for $230,

yeah, people are getting mixed responses from dealerships.....if you want em, go right to germany. The ebay store I used is highly rated.

I ordered mine from Pacific 2 weeks ago.... call them 4 days ago, they told me it's on national hold!!!! They dont know when they're gonna come in...

Does the ebay store really sell them for $170.24 + shipping??? that's pretty good.... how long was the shipping Lawman??? I might cancer my Pacific order and get this one instead!!!!

Yes. My order was 145 Euro for lights and 47 Euro for shipping and handling. The total was about $230 US. Ordered on the 7th, they shipped on the 8th and it was on my doorstep today the 21st.

Send them an email with your address and ask them how much it will cost to ship to you. Ask for "Nett", I think he is the only one that speaks English.
