I need help! I dont know what to do, whether to wait and get the new F80 M3 or stay with my E90 M3 and put in a ESS VT2-600 Super Charger system? What would you do?

Hmmm, since you can't seem to make your own decisions and are asking a bunch of strangers on a public forum to do it for you, I think you should donate the money you'll dump on the ESS supercharger to charity

Not to discredit our active aftermarket tuners, but I would spend my money for a factory built M3 as opposed to dumping 15 to 20 large into a $70k car. Again, just my personal opinion, but adding 200 HP to components not designed for this level of power is a recipe for dissatisfaction, or worse disaster.

I wasn't considering a supercharger but I was on the fence about a lot of expensive mods. At one point I wanted 380mm brembos, LCI tails, CIC retrofit, PF AG aero, Challenge X Pipe, Tune, and some small goodies. That stuff alone is 13-16k depending on when and who I buy from. I also have 60k miles too. For me I figured I would be better off with the new car. It will have the latest styling, navigation ICE, larger multipiston brakes, and will be turbo so gains will be easier and cheaper. Also it gives me time to think about the new M3 in general. If the 2 series looks good and they make an M2 I would probably take a smaller more intimate car.

Thanks everyone! I decided to give the ESS VT2-575 a try, it should come in here very soon! I guess I can always sell the unit if it doesn't work out for me.

I would do nothing if I were you. But if you really want to spend money, get the new car with better performance from the factory and with a warranty as opposed to an expensive time bomb.
