Suggestion: Australia Forum New Car Photo Threads!

Howdy All,

I know Pananiro and I are both taking delivery of our new F30s next week.

I was thinking (read: Spikey suggested it and I liked the idea) that we should post an Aussie thread showing off pics of each person's new car as they come in.

I'm gonna do it of course, but I guess I'm just saying I'd love to see each new car's pics as they come in, would be a nice way to build up the Aussie forum here.

Cheers!

Hey all,

thought to put up some pix of my car. Since it's something we've all seen before, thought to take more photos of my beige interior. I think it looks really classy - particularly at night with the white LEDs

New baby in foreground with old gf in background.

I was afraid of the stock noline bumper - but I really like those side vents (circled in red) that don't seem to feature on some of the lines. I feel it adds a sportier look.

Also love how the Euro plate takes away the focus from the upcurled lip immediately below the plate.

Night shot with the door puddle lights

Love the lighter coloured interior! The burled wood looks dark and turns to a dark nutty brown even in bright sunlight. Much better than the orangey looking burled I've seen on the luxury line in some photos

Love how there are LEDs under the doors. Really brightens up the car at night

Front cabin

Rear seat illuminated

Rear Door

I've been so busy during the day & haven't taken any day photos since the tint + opticoat. Will post pix when I get the chance.

Looks good! I'm liking the beige interior. Can't recall seeing an f30 with beige actually.

What plate cover are you using? did you fit them yourself?

Don't know as the plates were dealer fitted. I was surprised they didn't have the dealer advertising. Just as I requested.

Have to thank the other members on this forum for recommending removing the dealer advertising. Looks much better without

Picked up my Glacier Silver 335i M-Sport in early April after a very long wait (my fault......ordered in October but I specified a Jan 2013 build).

I've travelled only 1000 km so far (I work overseas for half the year) so the car is not yet run-in (still gently bedding-in the brakes), but I'm loving it so far!

how did I manage to live in the past without a HUD??

my quick contribution. Great work to the guys at BMW Melb with the front splitter & M performance exhaust. other mods include gloss black roof wrap & hoen fog lights.

for those not sure about the exhaust, don't doubt it. It is fantastic.

So far, clearance on front splitter is good as well.

(apologies for the iphone pic)

Dig the brakes. Not sure about the wheels though... maybe a different photo will show them up better, but in that one they don't seem to work with the Tanzanite paint job IMO.

Thanks.
You are right. in the pics it seems off. But trust me in real life its totally awesome. In comparison to the CH-R i like these wheels more.
Even in photos the Tanzanite colour doesn't pop. In sunlight its almost Sapphire like with gold like flakes and almost chameleon like in the way it changes colour depending on the light that hits it.
