GruppeM intake for 330i

I contacted GruppeM and they told me it would take them 3 weeks to make the kit... and he gave me a price of..... READY....

$890 USD includes shipping from Japan

Any HP gains...I would not want to fork $900 for a cosmetic intake that nobody sees.

For 1900 euros you get the 'M' limited slip differential(locking from 0-100%) from www.drexler-motorsport.com.

THAT's more like it

I too would like to see some specs. as well as dyno numbers along with a statement regarding whether it has been approved by BMW. Cosmetics under the hood don't cut it with me.

Yea all their air intakes are that much. Not saying that that's a good price, but this is about what they charge for other cars too.

I would like to see the filter they use in this kit, that special K&N they use on their other kits (small cone) simply does not have enough surface area on it to be useful.

But yes, their quality and carbon fiber is absolutely top notch.

That looks very much like the stock aribox only in CF. Cool. Goes to prove there´s not much to improve on the stock intake setup except maybe looks and weight.

Finally a modder who gets it....

so i believe you guys, it is top quality. What does the quality of the CF they use do for 900 dollars though when its under my hood. I would be hapy to hear that they even have a 5hp gain. Also where can i get this

THis is no different than any Intake system out in the mkts. Very popular ones with big gains are AEM Cold Air Intake which only cost around $200. Wow $890 is way too steep for an intake system.

Lets see some dyno results. I would consider this if it gave any decent performance gains...
