OK Really really this time, No more Chickening out. Tint Tomorrow.

Will be heading to Bellevue Auto Tint, have Jim do it up.

Johnson's Window film, Insulator ceramic, 30%... Will post up after I got picks...

I know you all probably don't care, but after my Waffling last time, I figured me actually following through with an appointment is a pretty big deal.

I dunno, dropping my car off anywhere for work makes me nervous...

Keep us posted! I'm trying to find the time to drop mine off to at Bellevue Auto Tint. Nothing like seeing another member's car done up to get motivated.

OK Got it back and so far it looks like it will be the ticket... The Johnsons Insulator WORKS!!!! There is a huge difference in the amount of warmth felt through the tint VS through the sunroof. So Huge Bonus.

Also As soon as I took my car in there I had a feeling of Confidence, Jim knows what he is doing. Don't be put off by the facilities (It is kinda Back behind Bellevue Pontiac GMC and looks kinda wore down...) But The Work was top notch.

He's going to replace the Passenger window when I take it back next week for him to smooth the stippling on the rear window... There is a tiny little cut in the cut. Top notch, he didn't blink an eye.

Charge came out to $395 instead of the $495 I was quoted but I am going to ask him about that and make certain he didn't short himself.

SO, Thus Far (Tint hasn't even STARTED CURING Yet) I am 100% happy.

I'll post up once it's all cured and looks decent.

Yup, Pretty sure though there was a strange little blip with the trunk release today. But Everything else is working 100%.

I'll get some pictures once it's cured a little more, It's got a really interesting look. It's really very reflective, so in bright sunlight you just cannot see in at all..

30%, The darkest that Johnson's makes in the insulator line. I think it's about perfect. Not dark enough to look ricey, but enough to offer a bit of privacy and significant heat/glare reduction.

Oh Right, Right now they are all "Unstuck" as it were. I was instructed to bring it back in a couple of weeks and they will make it all go away. Something about there being too much moisture under the film right now that no amount of pressure will get it to adhere properly.

Here's a couple of before and after. Really pleased.

The tint works wonders at keeping the heat out, and looks great. It does have a tiny little bit of blue to it which I like very much, but some one else may not.

It's very reflective, I'll post some more pics and you'll be able to see what I mean.

Next up some Black wheels and I'm done.

Post up a recent pic will ya? Not much can be done about the White over REd with Tint... But, I've been toying with some Gunmetal, Bronze or even Gold wheels. I agree we shouldn't be Total twins...

Thanks for the pics and the report. But can you please post some pics once the Dot Matrix is cured & fixed..... Unless, I see a perfect one (which I am yet to see) I am not going to get the 335 tinted.

Did you also stopped by Midnight Auto Tint on Aurora?

I swung By Midnight and had a little trouble finding someone to deal with me. When I did get help the gentleman I spoke with was knowledgeable and friendly. Only reason I ended up out at Bellevue Auto Tint was a few recommendations from other E92 owners.

The minute you meet Jim you know you are in the right spot. I felt at ease enough that I did not object to just dropping off my car without signing any paperwork or anything like that. Kind of tripped me out.

I will be certain to post up finished results of the Dot matrix. I would be lying if I said I wasn't concerned but I have high hopes... :rocks:
