Tips on replacing front and rear BMW emblem Roundels?

Does anyone have a quick DIY on this process? I have the carbon fiber ones and want to swap them out.

BTW, i did a search and found nothing.

Hi there, where did u get the rear roundel? Is it slightly curved like the OEM one?

Any photos of the roundels?

I got them on eBay and am not sure if they will work honestly.

Chesmu had a DIY on this. The rear is easy since the bottom of the roundel you can get at easy with a credit card or something like that to help pry it up. The hood one is the Bitch. Just go at it slow. I ended up taking some small silver chips out of my front on in getting it off. But I don't plan on putting it back on so it doesn't really matter to me. The front one seemed to be stuck on there a bit better for some reason.

Try to use like a thin gift card or something that seemed to work best for me. Also use the clear rubber plugs that came with the car not the replacement ones that you got with the CF roundels, it will work better. I also used some glue to make sure they stayed in but thats just me being a bit paranoid. Let me know if you have any questions

I've just replaced mine. The front one needs care - I ended up putting a huge scratch in the original one when my tiny screwdriver slipped. Better than in the paintwork though Make sure whatever you use, you protect the paint with something and if you need to apply pressure don't dent the hood!!!

no worries, as much as I advocate the function on E90post, it does have its faults!
