Painted Reflector Replacement on Crimson Red E93
I finished my Bimmian painted reflector modification this morning and it looks fantastic. The photos do show the color being a little bit off but I don't see that when I'm looking at the car in person. I'm very happy with the color match and thanks to longtran for his excellent DIY post.

The color does look off... but it's not bad looking at all. If the color bothers someone, then the outline of the reflector would drive them just as mad if you HAD matched it perfectly.
Have to say it still looks great tho!

I agree it looks way off in the pictures. I shoot with a decent semi-professional camera, a Canon 30D, so I know the camera is probably better than my naked eye but it's odd...it looks like a match when looking at in person. I was a bit taken back when I went to load the photos on to my Mac and noticed how off the color looked. Oh well, I am very happy with the look and the color match.
