Is anybody a member of The BMW Car Club of Great Britain?

As the title says, is anybody here a member of the BMW Car Club? If so, what region and what do you get up to? How often? Would you recommend?
And what is the Straight Six club, how does that work and what differs?

With a E90 320d it's a bit of a waste of your money IMO.
The mag is called 'six cylinder' so there's little about 4 cyl and most of the 'write-ups' are of BMW dinosaurs of the past.
The layout of the mag IMO is poor IMO with coloured pages which are not the best for reading and it's a bit of a hodge podge!
Not much info on current models and you are out of luck if you think your going to get a big discount flashing your membership card at your local BMW main dealer! They usually fall about laughing!

However, they organise 'track days' which may be of interest!
