Looking for new steering wheel made out of carbon fiber

Did anyone see this steering wheel? I believe it is Hamann but I couldn't find it on the web site. The top was carbon fiber, the sides were leather, etc. I believe the wheel was about a grand.. Does anyone know where I can find this?

Thanks

Is there an advantage to having a flat bottomed steering wheel? I suppose in high speed antics it would help the driver determine when the steering wheel is pointed straight...or is there another reason?

It's personal preference. Some like the smaller diameter steering wheel because it's more responsive and easier to work with.

The main reason for flat bottomed steering wheels is to make it easier to get in and out of the car. More knee room.

Not really an issue with the 3 series, but that's the logic behind it.

I imagine its easier to handle if you like to place your hands there. I would sure love to have that style steering wheel minus the CF...
