100k maintanence

Im approaching this magical figure, and whilst the car is running sweet as a nut, IM sure there are some sensible measures I can take, regardless of how BMW feel.

Im having the annual service that will consist of the normal stuff like oil change + filter, air filter, cabin filter, brake fluid etc
I changed the sparks plugs in last years service, and only done 8k miles since then.

but is it worth going into a little more depth, and taking some preventative measures??

transmission fluid
engine coolant
control arms + bushes
change vanos selonoids
O2 sensor

Im kind of thinking that if its not broke, dont try and fix it, and just replace things as/if they fail.

Tranny fluid + coolant deffo. The rest not because they have not failed. Is there play in the front arms?

What about fuel filter?

Filter is always worth changing.

Don't think a replacement fuel filter exists on a petrol E9x. Can't see one on Parts Realoem, suspect only filter is in the pump/sender in the fuel tank. No mention in BMW service, Diesel only.

yeah not sure that its an easy job even if there is one.

sometimes in the morning there is a rattle which sounds like its from the exhaust, so maybe i'll get that checked over. you know that slight shudder/rattle you get if you try pull away in 3rd gear...

i was thinking about selling, but nothing else has a boot as big (golf, leon, A3) for kiddy stuff (pushchairs, bags etc)
