Coded alarm sensor too sensitive

I coded my alarm and while it was raining the alarm kept going off and eventually killed my battery leaving me stranded. Anyone know what controls the sensor and how to code to lesser sensitivity.

Your alarm doesn't have a knock sensor in it from the factory. Just motion sensor, tilt sensor, and hood sensor.
