Ok I did drive again. A few comments.

Seats are outstanding-better than 135 by wide margin

Ride is very good in comfort and not diminished much in sport with m adaptive suspernsion.
Brakes don't seem quite as good as 135 but could be extra weight vs 135 weight and tire rpofile putting less rubber on the road. - need more time to evaluate

Engine is super smooth vs n54 but maybe not quite as aggressive.
The 8at is a marvel --spec'd sport auto and very dct like IMHO

Steering -not horrible but I would not mind a bit more road vibrations/feel coming thru to my hands. Need more time for tire break in to push the envelope. Can't drive the car in comfort expect highway cruising.

Love the interior if it had the m sport steering wheel it would be perfect

One thing I paid zero attention to during test drives--the anthracite headliner is beautifully executed especially with black interior. The red and slight hint of blue on the doors really pops on the black. Gla I add sporthan brake to bring in a bit more color to the interior.

One bad thing. Wifey really thinks its awesome and has suggested we share it more than we did with 135. Have to pu that in the thumbs down category.

Radio--stock sustem. Not bad. Wife's Infinit and my 911 w/ Bose is better but not an issue. Love the sat. radio which I did not have in either of the other cars.

Tech---tons to learn.

I suspect it will sound very good. still have to wait thru the break in to get the revs up and hear its real voice and some of those barky down/upshifts guys are referring to.

I would imagine sport exh would sound better but kind of pricey.

Really digging the car even if it has 4 doors- a radical departure for me. I had my CAs 328 coupe x drive for a few days while they were finishing my car. Not even close. This may be a little more luxurious 3 series than folks might be used to but its still a BMW. I tried the competitors. I am a Bimmer guy- I can't stray.
