my spoiler arrived today broken

I received the spoiler from Brad today but it came in two pieces instead of one, here's a picture of it

I already PM Brad (Carking) about it hopefully he gets back to me right away, tsk tsk what a bummer.

the box is form fitting... so that may be a reason why...

anyways... i'm sure Brad will resolve the problem as soon as he is notified/checks his pms.

There is a bend mark on the box where the broken part of the spoiler sits.
More than half of the box is hollow and the only protection for the spoiler is the thin styrofoam that is wrapped around it.

I ordered and paid for it on 07/09 and it arrived yesterday 07/21 so it took about 12 days including weekends. That's pretty fast considering it came from Taiwan and has to go thru US customs.
I'm sure he'll take care of this judging from his prior transactions.
I just need to wait I guess, and a lot of you guys know what that feels like.

Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understand only the shipper can do that since he's the one who paid for the insurance.

"what??
it broke into 2 piece.....omg...
don't you worry.
every item we sent was insured.
plz do as following.
--
Damages incurred during delivery
If your product arrives crushed in its packaging, please do the following within 3 days:
1. Take pictures of the package
2. Please write a claim that states your parcel′s date of delivery and condition of package, missing contents/product damage, and any other specifics, and then sign with your signature. Then present the claim to your post office for authorization. It must be stamped with their post office emblem.
3. Please then fax the document to us and email us the pictures. Keep the original document in safe-keeping. (You may find out how to dial out from your country to Taiwan from this site: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/dialing.html? p2=110)
4. Once we receive your fax, we can then begin the refund process.

--

I need the proof of the damage from the USPS so that I can claim the compensation. need ur help to do that. I am waiting for the document and organizing a replacement for you.

pm me if you need any help.

Brad/CarKing Tuining"

hi gsmurf,

this is standard process when damage happened during process. damage happen in 1 of 50(according to our ebay experience)

all we need you to do is mail me pics(already did) and file a claim to USPS and get damage report and stamp from USPS. in that case, we can get the compensatoin from USPS. This is nothing to do with the replacement you will get. we will give you a replacement no matter we will get compensation from EMS or not. I know my english is not very good and you may get wrong idea from my words. but all in all, we will take care of this and feel sorry for the problem you have faced.

I need a little help here guys as this is the first time I'm doing this.
How do I get the claim form that Brad needs to file a claim?
Does the post office have one of this forms that I can fill out?

or do I just write a letter and have the USPS sign and stamp it? Of course after I show them the damaged spoiler.
