Where to buy MSport key case?
Hi, I was wondering where you could get the BMW MSport key case. I've seen it on this forums before but can't find now...

Most dealerships have them in stock now.

That or try getbmwparts.com. I got my red sport line for $20 plus $7 for shipping. But im not sure if they have the blue m sport one yet. Search ebay as well you may find one there. I think the dealer is going to overcharge like on eveything else...

the blue one on ebay is $39....too much and the other colors are only $23. Im sure they are overcharging because most dealers didn't have the blue one in yet.

I purchased mine from a BMW dealer off eBay. Got it the yesterday and it looks cool, but I'm not really a fan. My main complaint with the car is the size of the key...it's just massive and I have no place to put it. The leather case just adds to the bulk. I'll most likely take it off and try to find something a little lower profile.

I have the Sport key case and definitely have mixed feelings about it... It literally adds--no exaggeration--one quarter inch to tbe overall thickness, height, and width. Plus with the way it's designed, the key just flops out of the case if I grab a different key on the keyring.
Sometimes I wonder if the only reason I use it is because I've invested $25 in it... |

I got the M Sport case from my dealer when I bought the car.
My experience is it does make the key a bit bulky...however since I have comfort access on the car I never remove the key from my pocket to open the doors/trunk so I don't mind the extra bulk. However if I didn't have comfort access I would be irritated by the additional bulk and would probably not use the case and as T Bone mentioned it can flop out from the case. |
