German Zoll 18" Tourist Plate Frame
I took Euro Delivery of my 335 last fall but as of yet have not been able to source a proper frame for the Zoll/Tourist plate which measures at 18" as opposed to the standard EEC plate size of 21". Does anyone have any sources for a proper frame?
Thanks! |

Yeah, I couldn't find that either. I eventually just got my US bracket painted to match the exterior and mounted it just like they did in Europe.
There are a few pics in my garage. |

I decided to go one step further since there is pretty much no way you are going to find a holder for a Zoll plate..... The newer ED cars actually now have the 21" plates.... Armed with that fact, I got an identical one made on a 21" plate..... See attached pics of my car

So, what plate holder is that? Does it use the same mounting holes as the standard US front plate holder?
I got a plate that size on my ED. |

I got mine at Bavarian Autosport for $10. It is just plain black and it fits the tourist plate. Our ED was this past June. I heard that the older tourist plates were smaller while the more recent ones are the same size as the EU plates.
