TPMS different in F25 and F30?

just wondering if they use a different system.

Last year I bought a set of Winter wheels/tires for our F25 (2012) and Tire Rack charged $212 for the TPMS installed.

I was just looking for a set for my F30 that arrives next month and they want $372 for the TPMS!

I asked them directly and their response was "if the manufacturer raises prices, we have to as well"

I seriously doubt the manufacturers raised pricing by 75%

So I was thinking maybe its a different system, with higher costs? I don't mind spending $200-$225, but $370 is a little insane! I would rather use that cash and get better wheels, but since I am not going with runflats and there is no spare, I really don't want to risk not having TPMS active with the winter set on.
