F30 328 Chip Malfunction

My wife has a 328i Sport for about a month. The other day when she started the car warning indicator came on, and it displayed something was wrong with the drive train. She turned off the car waited a bit and restarted and everything was fine. Took it to the dealer yesterday and today they told us there was a chip malfunction and they have to wait for the part to replace it. Did anyone has the same experience?

No, nothing is wrong with my 328i. I have driven for 4 months. I like the warranty period. So be happy.

Yes the warranty helps plus they gave us an X1 2.8 for the weekend.
