Sunroof/moonroof cover marks

Have about 1100 miles on my 328i, but mostly drive at night. Today I was outside in the sunlight and noticed a black smudge forming in the middle of the sunroof cover. It runs from the back toward the mirror, but not all the way forward. Its about 1/2 inch wide, and appears to be rubbing on something inside the roof. Because I drive at night, I frequently open it. Anyone else seeing this?

bring it to the dealer, have them replace it

Agreed - just curious if anyone else had this yet. Seems odd...

Garage List
Had mine 2 months now and open the sunroof a lot, but can't see any signs of wear/rubbing. Looks like there's something inside your roof liner that shouldn't be there, perhaps something with a small amount of grease on it, that's causing the marks.

Definitely think the dealer should rectify this under warranty.
