Staggered wheels on F30 x-drive???

I'm looking to replace the stock 393 17" wheels on the 2013 328i xdrive with staggered 18" M Performance 400M wheels.

Does anyone know if this is possible on the x-drive models? I'm getting different responses (mostly saying yes it's possible aside from one parts guy at at local dealership) and hoping someone here can confirm if this is possible or not? I'd think it is possible since the M Sport Line 400M wheel is labeled as an "upgrade" for xdrive 328/335 models on F30 ordering guide. Confused...any advice would be appreciated!

I think early on in x-drive, you couldn't use staggered sports. Now I believe you can. Need an x-drive owner to confirm.

I have X drive and staggered 18's, and am getting both great cornering and nice ride. Square 18's on order for winter.

It's possible, but why on earth would you want to do that?

With your 18" staggered, what tire size did you use?
What are the wheel specs?

im getting the staggered 19s on my xDrive msport. i think that the overall diameter is so close from front to back that xDrive doesn't notice the difference.

i wavered on going with square 18's and decided to get the fancy wheels and then get a set of square 18's down the road in 6 months. i loked the look of the 19's and i figured for the small increase in price over square 18's it would be easier for me to sell them and get 18's if i decided i made a mistake after the fact, than to go the other way around and buy a set of fancy 19's later.

....although i could be very wrong with this logic, that's my story and im stickin' to it

DCT coming

Just put on stagger 19" with 8.5 front and 9.5 back MRR GT7, tires 235 35 255 35, my DCS comes on and no acceleration. I know the size is little off on the front but I thought is was close enough. Dealer is telling me xdrive can't run stagger.

Staggered has to do with the width: you can run different widths no problem. You have different diameters: one is 25.5", the other is 26.0". That is over 2% off, and the max xdrive can handle is 1%.

Definitely works, guy in the company next door has them on his 3series, no issues at all. Just needs proper fitment and that's it.
