Mutiple I-drive Issues happening at once...
Let preface what I am about to say with - for the most part, I have been fairly happy w/ my idrive... I actually just got the v26 update the other weekend and it's a very nice improvement...
So, yesterday, when I was pulling out of work, I immediately got multiple idrive error messages... Idrive was telling me that I had a FTM system failure, a DSC system failure, a DSB failure (which I don't even know what that one is...) When I tried to use my cruise control on the way home, I also got a cruise control system failure... It was like the portion of the computer that controls car driveability functions was gone. My turn signals even weren't working properly... When I made a turn they would not turn off. SO - I am taking it into the dealership in a little bit here to see what is going on... I REALLY hope that they are actually able to diagnose a problem, instead of just resetting everything, and then telling me that everything will be fine... We'll see.....

well - it's at the dealership right now and they have no clue what it is... I have 4 error codes right now that are unexplainable... I am going to be stuck in a loaner vehicle for a while...

Good luck, keep us posted. Did you get a chance to restart the car before taking it in? And when you did, did the errors still show up?

I had a similar problem in my '02 and it was an Engine wire harness failure resulting in none of the systems being able to talk to eachother (ABS, DSC, ...). I agree with zenmaster...

Anyway... the good news that the problem is solved and the car is back to normal...for now... I guess I will never know if the v26 update that I received a couple weeks ago had anything to do with it...
