EB II M-Sport with Wood?

Seems that everyone is getting EBII with Hex and Blue trim, curious if anyone went the burl route?

I almost did. I went with Hex and BLACK trim though. I'm not a fan of the blue trim.

ours came with the wood. to be honest, we're looking at how to swap over to the carbon/alcantara or another theme. It's ok, but with black leather, it looks out of place on a blue car (i.e. no earth tones).

I did, but I got venetian seats to go with it, so I think it'll look best in that combo. Picking up the car hopefully this week or next.

I did, preferred it over the blue/silver combo. We'll see how it looks in a couple weeks.

Blue trim wasn't available for mine. I don't think M Sport + EBII + Blue trim is allowed. Having said that, the UK car configurator has been down for days so it's hard to be sure

I went with black highlight and brushed aluminium trim since the hex alu looks nasty and cheap and looks like plastic

Ah we can't get brushed aluminum with M-Sport in US...that would have been my preference too

I did. I prefer it. I just wish the wood was darker.

Wood trim just seems to be counter-intuitive to the whole "sporty" look to me. It looks good ( I actually have it on my current E90), but I'm going with the hex on my order next week.

Diff'rent strokes for different folks though! Enjoy your new ride!

I haven't ordered anythign yet and have not seen the wood in person but I did see the hex trim on a EBII M sport with black leather and it looks good. I don;t think wood will look better though, I'd say I am indifferent. None of the trim option are gogin to make me say "wow, look at that, that's awesome!" and for me, wood trim has always been associated with luxury cars so I am inclined to go with the wood. You can get aluminum trim in a Civic....I would want my car to be differentiated.

Also, I was not a fan of EBII up close...too light and powdery. As soon as I saw it I thought to myself, "My mom would buy a Ford Escape in this colour". I wanted to love it, and in certain light I know it looks amazing because I have seen tons of pics, but it's just too light for me. Too bad outside of EBII there aren't really any interesting colours. It's no wonder so many people are going with Alpine White.

Yeah, the hex trim I'm lukewarm to. I'm strongly considering going with Sportline so I can get Mineral Grey with black leather, high gloss black, with red accent. the red goes nice with the mineral grey, and matches the stitching

What????? I don't understand. That's the standard configuration for the F30 M-Sport & EB. Blue trim with hex aluminium dash face. Then you can reconfigure from there.

The Fineline Anthracite trim would've been my pick, unfortunately not offered w/the M-Sport. I think if you'd have asked me 4 years ago to pick a trim, I'd have gone with aluminum, but I just like the warmth of the burl. The nice thing is I can always replace it with the M trim pack, or wrap it w/a different material.

Once EBII is selected on the UK Configurator, blue trim lines disappear as options. Blue trim is available with every colour except EBII Go figure

I went black ext. Red interior, hex and black trim. Will likely swap out to Alcantra/CF trim...but going to give it a chance in person before I make final call.
