What should be my next mod?
Its been a few months since i did my last mod, and now I'm itching to do something to my car again! Was hoping everyone on here can tell me which of these 2 mods they would do first.
If you have any other suggestions, please feel free to share. In terms of my goals with this car, I want to build it up into a car which i can take onto the track next summer. I was planning on tracking this summer but got busy since I got a new job. Also if someone could tell me ... how much louder is the PE with a down pipe? I love the sound of my PE but im looking for better throttle response. |

LSD.
Although I know someone who is racing a 135i with the stock open dif, he doesn't want to give up any more points yet to modify it. That said, he's doing ok in it but says it definitely is holding him back from keeping up with the faster guys in his class.

Save your money for an LSD since you will track next year.

was just looking at the wavetrac LSD and since I have the welded differential i have to go for the LSD option with the install kit. Does the install kit mean that the Wavetrac LSD they send will have a gear ring bolted on to it so all i have to do is swap out my welded gear ring + open differential for their bolted ring LSD?
this is the site i was looking at http://www.etektuning.com/wavetrac-1...ferential-lsd/ |

I would do it now if you have the funds. I would think it would only help in Winter driving with a good set of snow tires.
