So far I have only gotten NCS expert to install on 32 bit OS's and I think Windows 8 is 64 bit so my guess is no. Diagnostic software may still be possible however.

Get inpa working in XP virtual machine, install NCSexpert , then run both using XP mode in your 64bit OS... Configure the temp path and verify the DCAN drivers are working
Works for me |

I have found a bit of inconsistency between the reports of whether the software is "FULLY" compatible with what iteration of Windows.
I have not been able to run NCS Expert in x64 Win 7 install. Instead I use Windows XP Mode through a Virtual Machine. I kind of like that as it keeps the C-Drive mess away from the main Win 7 install. As per Windows 8, it should be exactly the same. Windows 7 x86 (32 Bit) mode seems to work for quite a lot of people. Not sure whether "Compatibility Mode" settings need adjusting. Windows 8 x86 (32 Bit) should behave the same. |
