It's located under the passenger side under dash cover. If you remove the under dash cover, you will clearly see an arch shaped cover which is part of the climate system. Removing the arch cover will give you access to the cabin filter.

I'd also like to clean out the AC, can you PM me how to do this? I tried looking just now, and wasn't sure what I needed to take off. Is the filter always hidden like this?

Thanks for this. I was thinking about changing the cabin filter as part of getting rid of the nasty smell in my ac system.
Does anyone have any extra information about the 3 types of filter advertised in that link? What is the difference between the C UK 25 001 and the FP 25 001?
Also they don't seem to advertise prices on the website. Does anyone know the cost?
