When are vendors going to stock something other than et30 rears for e92? et30 will NOT work on a lowered e92.

+30 on E92 will work.

Depending on the brand of tire, some 265's are wider than others. Most will work with stock suspension, however if the car is lowered, then it becomes a little more difficult. On the wide 265's, if it rubs on a lowered car, users should try adding just a tad of negative camber to get rid of any rubbing issues.

More proof that +30 rear offset DOES work on a lowered e92 without fender rolling, and yep thats my exact set up I am running (mentioned above)

Thanks for the reply brandonanix. I thought I remember reading on one of the forums about keeping the sizes of the front and rear wheels on a xi close to equal so as not to screw up the awd and sensors. I could be wrong. Are you using any spacers? Your car looks really clean and very mean. Good work.

You can post an anecdote, but I've done the math.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79560

The reason you're not having a problem is that the maximum drop on H&R sport springs is roughly equal to the minimum drop on Bilstein or KW coilovers.

From here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=613

1.3" / 1.2"
--> H&R Sport Springs (part # 50490)

Compared to the most common coil overs sold:
KW Variant 2 coilovers (part # 15220032) -- Lowering range--> Front: 1.2-2.3" Rear: 0.9-2.1"
Bilstein B16 PSS9 coilover (part # GM5-C051) -- Lowering range--> 30-50mm (30mm = 1.18")

IMO, people with e92's on coil overs should be wary of ET30 rears unless they are committed to doing what it takes to make a more aggressive look work.

I'm kinda perplexed by VMR's comments in this thread versus what they said in the linked thread back in August:

As time goes on its beginning to appear that a +33 would be a good offset that should fit on a lowered E92 without rubbing, but even then its still speculation.

However, it still stands that a 9.5" +30 w/ 265 tire on E92 is not a definite WILL rub case, but when you lower it it will depend on each persons setup.

When lowering the car with aftermarket wheels and wide tires, not all fitments are going to be perfect. If the user wants to have specific wheels and tires on their car, and they've just taken the next step to lower the car, then they're going to do what it takes to make it fit, be it rolling fenders or alignment adjustments.

Right now there aren't many +33 offset wheels available, so the best choices are +30 or a +45 w/12mm spacer.
EDIT: btw, your car looks great!

a little off the topic but...it looks like he needs a camber kit for the rear? That might also effect the clearance.

If you see the original post date of this thread, and dates of other posts, you'll notice it was before Hegemony's thread, and that whole E92 fitment discussion took place.

It is now known that +33 is ideal, and +30 is prone to rubbing on E92. We will not make any false claims to customers in order to sell wheels, and will no longer recommend a +30 for your average E92 owner. But for those who are willing to make the modifications necessary to make a +30 work on their vehicle, we will sell them the +30 rears.

For E90 the same fitment as always applies, +40 up front, and +30 rear work like a charm.
