I'm John with a 2013 328i Imperial Blue 6MT in Morningside by the Pittsburgh Zoo.

Anyone know anyone local who does any ECU coding? I got my dealer to code ASS to 'last state' but I still would like to tweak a few other cosmetic things (turn off the warnings, seat belt chime, auto folding in and out of mirrors, etc).

I've heard there's a place in Verona, but I think that's more performance mods than coding minor stuff like turning off the seat belt chime :-)

My car is one of the no-line builds, done that way on purpose.
As for pictures, I haven't taken any yet because for a while, I used to park at the Civic Arena during demolition so it was always dirty. I haven't gotten around to it since (and now we have winter salt dust, alas). Plus I think I'm just lazy.

I ought to check out that Verona place, though.

Ordered a 328i sport line, Black with red interior, premium and lighting package on April 22nd. Still havent gotten my VIN yet but it says its beginning production online. Tried to get the ULEV engine but dealer told me there are no production slots available till end of may. He said the reason i am getting the SULEV soo fast is because the car was already built and its just being modified to my specs. Anyone think this is true?

Rahal South Hills has a 2013 335IX sedan I have been going back and forth with them. It is pretty loaded, M package, cold weather package, etc. The sticking point is the trade in. I have a 2009 335ix with all the options, 36,000 miles. There last offer was $25,000. I think they are trying to steal the car.

Currently looking to change my winter wheel setup and put on new summer wheels and tires. Need a recommendation for an installer, as I wasn't quite happy with my old one.

I should probably join BMW CCA because I see a lot of active members during the PVGP.

Have you tried the dealer? They charge me like $120 to change tires and also store my summer/winter set for the season. I tried one of the 'exotic' tire/wheel shops in the area and they scratched my front wheel and denied responsibility. The dealer damaged my tire and slightly scratched my wheel. But they took responsibility by replacing the tire as well as offering to fix the damage on my next tire change.

I liked bruce brothers in south hills. They are the best value ive seen. It scared me a bit because if feels like they just focus on turning over cars, but the guys are all car people and they are trustworthy as well.

Very cool. I'm up on the north shore. Need some coding on my 2015 335 at some point.

There are local meets like the Pittsburgh Car Scene. You can find them on Facebook. I have no gone recently, but I think if we bring more of a BMW presence that might bring more of our kind out.
