PDC front, random music

Hi, it is possible to have parking senzor PDC instant ON? Wenn I put rear gear, they switch ON, but wenn I go normaly front and I want to park to the wall or car in front of me, they doesn´t work until I switch them with park button :-( - TERRIBLE

Random music - Everey time I want to listen random music from playlist or album I need to switch it ON, why it doesn´t remember it????

It is possible to coding these things?

You don't want them on at all time! Just think of how much they will beep in traffic...

I dont think so. I can imagine "women", that could have problem to stop also in trafic :-)

I have it in other car, they work all time. But question was, if s it possible to code it to ON. (random music = the same).

You can program one of those 1-8 hotkeys to remember to select random. Just go to the menu selection where you pick "random", don't click it with the idrive controller just yet. Hold down one of the 1-8 buttons and then you can just hit that whenever!

This was the only thread I could find in the coding forum that covered the topic I posted at Park Distance Control (front).

Since this thread is several years old, I was wondering if in the last 4 years anyone has figured out how to activate the front PDC without having to press the button (i.e. front PDC is always on)?

i just press the park distance control button and it turns them and the rear view camera on.

Newer cars come with Auto PDC, I think one of the LCI versions have it. Older (pre-lci) doesn't have this feature.

I have a MY2018 440i GC and do not have auto-PDC.

Auto-PDC is only available if you have the parking assistent.

Yup, 2016 onwards with parking assistant.

Yeah my 440i GC has park assist and auto pdc. I accidentally coded my pre LCI 420d with auto pdc but it didn't do anything.
